Salki participated in the Children's DIY Workshop which took place on Saturday 29 March at Leroy Merlin (CC Parquesur, Leganés) as part of the "Sponsor a neuron for Alex" campaign. The children attending the workshop had the chance to familiarize themselves with the tools donated by Salki to this cause and built their own photo frames or coat hangers in the shape of a neuron. A total of 5,000 neurons have already been obtained for Alex through the initiative headed by the Txema Elorza Foundation. Alex is a six-year old boy suffering from cerebral palsy who is to begin a neuron creation treatment. See news CdeComunicación. |
